Recommended weight range: 25-50 wt.  Start 25wt for most rigs with black soft springs. We recommend adding a third for additional leak protection (included), but not required. Adding o-ring grease from companies such as CowRC Udder Butter. ProTek, Team Associated (Green Slime) and more, will give you the smoothest performance and longest seal life. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTo properly assemble these shocks, use the following steps:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003col\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eGrab a spare rag for oil cleanup\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eRemove bottom spring retainer, shock cap, and spring. Do no use pliers on shock shaft without protection. You can create grooves which hurts performance and wears the o-ring seals out.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ePull the shock shaft to the bottom.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eFill shock 1\/2-3\/4 of the shock body.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eMove shock shaft up and down slowly and pull to bottom to let air bubbles come to surface.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eTop up the shocks with oil. There should be a slight dome on top.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ePut the shock cap on halfway.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eHolding at a slight angle with your rag around the top, push the shock shaft up almost to the top and tighten the cap.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eExcess oil should come out. You want as little air as possible. Wipe clean.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eAdd blue threadlocker to shock shaft threads before installing spring and retainer.
