Iron City RC Hobbies Mini-Z Rule Set

*Box Stock*

TRANSMITTER

- Box Stock Radio ONLY (KT-531P) No aftermarket radios allowed

BATTERY

- AAA NiMh Batteries ONLY. No Lion or Lipos Allowed

WHEELS / TIRES

- Kyosho Mini-Z Tires ONLY (Tires can be taped or glued)

- Water and 50% Alcohol ONLY allowed to clean tires. NO additives         allowed

- 8.5mm Front Wheels ONLY 

-11mm Rear Wheels ONLY

- No truing / Grinding of the tires

BODIES

- Kyosho Hard Bodies and Jomurema Bodies ONLY

- NO Lexan Bodies or aftermarket Hard Bodies

- NO Lexan Roofs

- NO Lexan Wings MUST use Stock Wing or Remove the Wing Completely

- NO Tampering with the Stock wing such as grinding or shaving

- Smoothing or rounding of the splitter is allowed (ONLY FRONT SPLITTER) This is encouraged to help save the track and help drivers not get stuck.

 *This is the only altering allowed to the body*

CHASSIS

- MR03 chassis 

- NO grinding or cutting of the chassis from factory

- NO manipulating of the chassis

- Stock Motor ONLY. NO XSPEED Motors or any aftermarket motors allowed

- NO Tampering with the motor

- NO Tampering with the board

- Stock Board must be ran. NO Aftermarket board, NO modifications allowed

- MUST run STOCK Kyosho Gear Diff. NO Aftermarket Ball Diff or Gear Diff allowed

- ADDING Weight to the car IS NOT Allowed

- KingPin Flips Are Allowed

T-PLATE / SUSPENSION

- Aftermarket T-Plates allowed (Must be made for the chassis (MR03) 

- NO Handmade parts allowed or 3D Printed Parts

- Kyosho MR03 Front Springs ONLY

- Stock Center Shock ONLY, (Option Kyosho Center Springs ALLOWED)

- IF car (LM) has disc damper is MUST Remain Stock

GEARING

- Stock Spur gear ONLY

- Stock Pinons (Given in kit) ONLY 6T, 7T, 8T, 9T

*NO AFTERMARKET PARTS ALLOWED SUCH AS PN CARBON FIBER PARTS ALUMINUM PARTS ETC. NO TRI DAMPERS ETC.*

*ALL PARTS MUST BE MEANT FOR THE MR03*

• 5600kv Stock Kyosho Brushless Motor ONLY

• NO Tampering with the Board, (Reverse Delay, Punch etc.)

CHASSIS

- Open Chassis such as GL, Reflex, Atomic, MWX, G-Force

WHEELBASE

- ONLY 102mm and 98mm Allowed

MOTOR

- Any Manufacturer 3500kv Motor is allowed. Max can diameter is 16mm. NO option or aftermarket rotors allowed. Maximum KV limit is 3800kv (When Teched)

- MUST Run a 53T Spur Gear 

- ONLY 12T Pinion allowed

WHEELS

- 8.5mm Front ONLY

- 11mm Rear ONLY

- Wheels must fit inside the body

TIRES

- Any Manufacturer Tires are allowed, 

- Maximum Rear Tire size is 25.5mm

BATTERIES

- 2 Cell Lipo or 2 one cell parallel maximum

- 8.4V is the LIMIT

ESC / RECEIVER

- ANY Manufacturer ESC and Receiver is allowed

- ESC MUST BE IN BLINKY MODE (RED)

BODY

- Lexan GT Bodies ONLY

- NO Hard Bodies Allowed
